Flockers gets early release access

From May 6 2014, you’ll be able to get your hands on the awesome new title Flockers from the guys at Team 17, creators of the legendary Worms series. Flockers follows in the same vein as Worms with quirky characters and the infamous style of graphics.

We were at EGX Rezzed recently and were lucky enough to get a first hand look at Flockers and it’s ace. It’s so much fun to look at and play. The game has great depth to it and promises to get better and better as final release nears. We’ll be bringing you a full write up on what we think of Flockers before May 6. What we can tell you now is that if you’re a fan of Worms, get Flockers. It’s a must!

“Welcome to Flockers. The Early Access game is already in a very playable state with twenty-five levels ready to play plus the powerful “Meat Maker” editor with which you’ll be able to create your own fiendish levels and share them via Steam Workshop. We decided to release Flockers via early Early Access to ensure the community gets a chance to help us shape it.

In this first release you may experience some bugs, crashes or compatibility issues. Things may change unexpectedly and scores may need to be reset. User levels might need to be reworked as a result of our changes and sheep logic will get tweaked. I’m sure you already expect this sort of thing with Early Access releases, we just wanted to remind you.
