F1 2020 adds Formula 2 2020

After the spectacular final race weekend of the 2020 FIA Formula 2 Championship in Bahrain, Codemasters is giving players of F1 2020 the opportunity to participate in 2020’s F2 season for themselves. The free F2 2020 season update let’s players rewrite history with the complete line-up of all eleven teams, including the new FIA Formula 2 champion, Mick Schumacher. 

The F2 game expansion replicates its counterpart with twelve weekends, each with two races. The first race, known as the “Feature Race”, is based on a standard format with drivers whose line-up is based on their qualifying time, with points for the top ten. The second race, the so-called “Sprint Race”, takes place with the eight top placements in the “Feature Race” in reverse starting position as a shorter race, with fewer points for the eight drivers. In both race variants, two additional points are awarded for the fastest lap of the race.
